● Kidney Tests: The kidneys play a vital role in the excretion of waste products and toxins such as Blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and creatinine from the body. BUN/Creatinine Ratio, Creatinine with GFR, and Urea Nitrogen tests are thus required to assess how well the kidneys are working.
The basic metabolic panel (BMP) without calcium, does not include testing for calcium. It is used to determine and monitor the general health status; to screen for and diagnose a variety of diseases and health conditions, including diabetes and kidney disease(s).
Please do not exercise prior to testing. It is best that your blood is taken in a rested state.
