● Glucose is a type of sugar required by the body for energy. Elevated levels of glucose may indicate diabetes.
● Calcium is one of the essential minerals required by the body for the proper functioning of muscles, nerves, and the heart. It also plays an important role in bone formation and clotting of blood.
● Protein tests
Protein tests including Albumin, Total Protein, Albumin/Globulin Ratio are used to measure the amount of protein in the blood as they are essential for the building of cells and tissues and are crucial for the overall growth and development of the body.
● Electrolytes
Electrolytes (Sodium, potassium, carbon dioxide, and chloride) helps in regulating the body's fluid levels and maintaining its acid-base (pH) balance
● Kidney Tests
Kidney tests include BUN/Creatinine Ratio, Creatinine with GFR, and Urea Nitrogen tests that help in determining how well the kidneys are working.
● Liver Tests
ALP (alkaline phosphatase), ALT (alanine transaminase), and AST (aspartate aminotransferase) are different enzymes made by the liver and part of the CMP panel. Bilirubin is a waste product produced with the normal breakdown of red blood cells. This is measured to assess a person's liver function or to screen and detect liver disorders.
